A Rocky Start
Wednesday, November 19, was not shaping up to be a good day. My ride showed up 25 minutes late, which immediately put me on edge. By the time I climbed into the car, I could feel my heart racing and my palms sweating. The drive didn’t help either—thanks to Manhattan traffic and every possible pothole, I spent the entire ride wondering why I bother putting myself through this. At some point, I caught myself thinking, “That’s it, I’m done. This is my last session.”
Stepping Into the Exoskeleton
But everything changed the minute I got strapped into the Atalante X. Instantly, my mood shifted. I felt more awake, not just physically but mentally. I didn’t expect much from myself—after the rough morning, I thought I’d be dragging. But, to my surprise, I actually did better than ever.
Pushing My Limits
Before I knew it, I had managed to rack up over 1,600 steps. Even better? I was able to lower my support level down to 35%. For anyone who’s tried this, you know that’s no small feat. Somehow, despite everything, I finished my session feeling energized.
Already Looking Forward
I went from dreading this day to counting the days until I’m back for the next session. Sometimes, all it takes is showing up—even when every part of you wants to turn back.
