Pushing Boundaries Even in the Heat: My Latest Exoskeleton Training Session

Yesterday marked another truly incredible session with the Atalante X exoskeleton, even as New York City sweltered under a scorching 105-degree heatwave! Despite it being the hottest June 24th in years, I had no intention of missing my sacred weekly walking session.

I’m thrilled with the progress I’m making. During this session, I successfully lowered the assistance level to just 35% on my left leg and 40% on my right leg. And the results speak for themselves: I walked over 2,000 steps in a mere 44 minutes!

My speed and endurance are improving at an extremely rapid rate, and I feel incredibly grateful for these consistent sessions and the significant strides I’m achieving. The Atalante X, developed by Wandercraft, is a self-balancing exoskeleton designed to mimic natural human walking, allowing individuals with severe gait impairment to walk hands-free. Its adjustable assistance means that as patients recover, the level of support can be gradually decreased.

A huge thank you to the amazing Wandercraft team for their continuous support and for developing such a revolutionary device that is truly changing lives. Their dedication to innovation is making a tangible difference in the mobility and independence of many.
