Hi there! Welcome to my contact page. I’m Esther Klang—an accessibility tester, Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC), and a passionate advocate for accessibility and disability rights.

My journey into accessibility began in 2006 after a life-changing surgery left me with quadriplegia and a speech disability at a young age. Ever since, I’ve made it my mission to break barriers in both physical and digital spaces, ensuring that everyone has equal access to communication and technology.

What I Do

I specialize in assistive technology (AT) and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). I work with organizations like Fable Tech Labs, Knowbility, C4AT, and Wilson Inclusive Solutions, where I test websites and apps for compatibility with assistive technologies. My goal? To offer clear, actionable feedback that improves accessibility and enhances the user experience.

I also work with companies to develop innovative emerging technologies that help people with disabilities live more independently. Whether it’s testing computer access tools, head-tracking tools like Sesame Enable, Augmental’s Mouthpad, and Voiceitt, or groundbreaking rehabilitate tools like Wandercraft’s Atalante X exoskeleton, I bring a unique perspective as someone who uses assistive devices daily. This hands-on experience allows me to provide developers with practical insights, helping them fine-tune their tools for practical, real-world use.

What I Share

On my website, I share personal experiences, reviews, and updates about the latest advancements in AT and AAC. It’s a space to connect with others, highlight my challenges and successes, and share advice that empowers individuals in the accessibility community. Having navigated communication barriers and limited computer access, I know how life-changing the right technology can be for one’s independence and mental and emotional well-being.
